GRAVITY CONVEYORS Standard widths starting at 12", 18" and 24" overall and 3M and 1.5M lengths. However we will manufacture to your requirements. Our standard conveyor channel is 32x89x32x2.5 thick and is punched at 37.5mm pitch to give spacings of 2" dia rollers starting at 75mm, 112.5mm, 150mm and so on. Three sets of elongated holes are located on the bottom flange of the channel for mounting either SHS or channel stands. The ends of our frames are fitted with either a hook and bar system or the more popular bolt connectors, which enable you to bolt the lengths together making it more stable. |

ROLLER TYPES The 2 main types are the 'S' and 'PC' types. The 'S' is a 2" diameter galvanised tube 1.6mm think with zinc plated bearings and a 10mm diameter shaft rated at 80kg. We can also use a 3/8" hexagonal and a steel Q shaft in the same bearings. A 7/16" hexagonal is also available. The 'PC' is a 2" diameter polypropylene tube 4.9mm thick with plastic bearings and a 10mm diameter shaft. Rollers ranging from 20 mm up to 76 mm in diameter can all be manufactured in house. Plastic and steel wheels can be used to give a 2" diameter but have the ability to overlap where a close pitch is required. |

The Channel Support is constructed from 35x50x35x2.5 thick channel, 25x5 flat bar ties, P1000 Unistrut for adjustment. A case hardened locking nut is used to ensure the height does not slip. The SHS Support is constructed from 50x50x2.5 SHS, 40x40x2 SHS ties and again we use the P1000 Unistrut for adjustment and the case hardened locking nut. When using the pipe supports the frame sits on top of the pipe adjusters and therefore is easily removed but when using the channel or SHS supports the frame is bolted to the support via a zinc plated bracket for more stability. all 3 types of supports can be bolted to the ground if necessary. |
